Most recently at Kennedy Associates Real Estate Counsel, LP we engaged Mark Robins several times to facilitate our division’s annual planning retreat. We have been extremely satisfied with his performance and especially appreciate how he is able to engage everyone in the discussions and exercises. Mark is very skilled at keeping the group focused on the topic at hand, posing insightful questions to keep discussions lively, and concisely recapping those involved discussions.

My role in Acumen is to provide a wide range of courses to meet generic development needs for various organisations in a multiple of sectors. We provide 47 courses, the majority of which are for senior to middle managers covering both sales and leadership curriculum’s. Mark Robins provides predominantly sales based workshops for us, although has also been involved in the management curriculum.
Mark is involved in both the design and delivery of the courses in the following subject areas;
Assertiveness at Work
Analysing the competition
Gathering information on key accounts
Creating customer interest in speaking to a sales person
Identifying the decision makers and process
Making prospective calls
Identifying opportunities in a key account
Managing your territory
He has also designed and delivered a “understanding buyer motivation” for middle managers consisting of three, 1-day skills development workshops.
The quality of the work undertaken by Mark is extremely high. He has an engaging style and is very alert to the needs of the trainees, often adapting the prepared material to ensure total customer satisfaction. His training courses are interactive and he has mastered the technique of active listening. Mark quickly builds rapport with the trainees and encourages them to extend their capabilities through progressive and challenging activities.
On the Assertiveness Workshop, an attendee recently told me that he had attended similar courses with large and respected Retail businesses and that he considered the programme provided by Mark to be superior.
I will continue to contract Mark to design and deliver programmes for Acumen and will pleased to provide additional information on request.
